How to Set Up Your Webmail Email Address on Outlook, Mail (MacOS), Android, and iOS

Recommended Settings for Secure SSL/TLS Connection
Before we begin, ensure you have the following secure settings at hand:
- Username:
username@example.co.za(replace with your actual email address) - Password: The password for your email account
- Incoming Server:
mail.example.co.za(replace with your domain name) - IMAP Port: 993 (SSL/TLS)
- Outgoing Server (SMTP):
mail.example.co.za(replace with your domain name) - SMTP Port: 465 (SSL/TLS)
1. Setting Up on Outlook
- Open Outlook and navigate to File > Account Settings > Account Settings.
- Select New to add a new email account.
- Choose Email Account and enter the following details:
- Name: Your full name
- Email Address: Your Infiearth email address
- Password: The password for your email account
- Click Next. If automatic configuration fails, proceed with manual settings.
- Select IMAP as the account type.
- Enter the following details:
- Incoming Mail Server:
mail.example.co.za - Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP):
mail.example.co.za
- Incoming Mail Server:
- Click More Settings > Outgoing Server and check My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.
- Go to the Advanced tab:
- Incoming server (IMAP): 993 (SSL)
- Outgoing server (SMTP): 465 (SSL)
- Click OK and then Next. Your account should now be set up.
2. Setting Up on Mail (MacOS)
- Open the Mail application.
- Go to Mail > Add Account.
- Select Other Mail Account.
- Enter the following information:
- Name: Your full name
- Email Address: Your Infiearth email address
- Password: The password for your email account
- Manually configure the settings:
- Incoming Mail Server:
mail.example.co.za, Port: 993 (SSL) - Outgoing Mail Server:
mail.example.co.za, Port: 465 (SSL)
- Incoming Mail Server:
- Click Sign In and complete the setup process.
3. Setting Up on Android
- Open the Mail or Gmail app.
- Tap on Add Account.
- Choose Other (or IMAP if available).
- Enter your Email Address and Password.
- Tap Next and configure the settings as follows:
- IMAP Server (Incoming):
mail.example.co.za, Port: 993 (SSL) - SMTP Server (Outgoing):
mail.example.co.za, Port: 465 (SSL)
- IMAP Server (Incoming):
- Tap Next to complete the setup.
4. Setting Up on iOS (iPhone/iPad)
- Open Settings > Mail > Accounts > Add Account.
- Select Other, then choose Add Mail Account.
- Enter the following information:
- Name: Your full name
- Email Address: Your Infiearth email address
- Password: The password for your email account
- Description: Choose a name for the account (e.g., "Infiearth Webmail").
- Tap Next and manually configure the following settings:
